Location:  Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG)
 

What you will do:
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible to accomplish the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) functions as required by CFR 121.373; conduct thorough examinations, surveillance, and analysis of the total maintenance system (CAMP) to ensure compliance and effectiveness with company procedures and federal regulations; perform internal and external audits; provide audit and analysis reports as required; evaluate and oversee Airworthiness Directive and other applicable regulatory compliance for Part 121 air carrier, daily point of contact and liaison duties with FAA, identify hazards, potential regulatory compliance and safety violations; provide support to the company Internal Evaluation Department (IEP); detect and analyze trends of program weaknesses or deficiencies; perform risk assessment and detailed root cause analysis to include human factors; evaluate corrective action plans for effectiveness; support Engineering and Maintenance Program functions to include the FAA approved Reliability Program as needed; perform other duties as assigned

What you need:

• Must have HSD/GED
• A&P license
• 3 years work experience in an aviation-related field.  Work experience may include working at a component repair facility OR working in a Quality Department or military aviation related field.  If work experience is with a 121/135 certified airline, 2 years experience would be acceptable.
• PC and Microsoft Office product knowledge and experience
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Travel required
• Prefer CASS and/or CASE auditing and analysis experience
• Prefer demonstrated working knowledge of Part 121 air carrier operations and regulations, previous technical writing experience
• Prefer knowledge and experience in risk assessment and root cause analysis
