What you will do:
The Benefits Supervisor will manage employee Health & Welfare benefit plans, policies and programs to ensure that costs and plan provisions are competitive within the market and compliant with state and federal laws. Serves as subject matter expert for benefits programs and collaborates in the design, implementation and administration of benefits offerings. The ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative, results-oriented leader who is particularly adept at balancing multiple priorities and issues.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline (may substitute associate's degree with additional years of experience)
  • Extensive knowledge of the prinicples of benefit administration, compliance laws and regulations that impact the administration of benefit programs (FMLA and ADA, ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, ACA etc.)
  • Experience in the development and implementation of benefits programs from strategy to execution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent relevant experience in managing Health & Welfare programs
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing and training employees engaged in benefit administration
  • Comfortable speaking and/or presenting to large groups
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete highly time-sensitive work
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software  (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in human resource management, business or related field
  • CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) certification
