Safety Program Analyst

Location: Wilmington, OH

What you will do:
The Safety Program Analyst will assist the Safety Program Manager with processing, classifying and investigating safety events; maintain the ABX Air FOQA database, analyze and evaluate statistical trends and help identify adverse safety of flight issues; prepare reports and follow-up on investigations of safety-related events and trends; other duties as assigned.

What you need:

  • 1 Year experience using software generating data analysis and/or creating statistical reports
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Apple iWork, Tableau or other spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to work with varying levels of professionals in a team environment
  • Must be detail oriented and experience compiling data results into trending analysis
  • Familiarity with FAR 121 or 135 regulations
  • Ability to travel occasionally to attend training sessions or Safety Program related infoshares

Preferred Skills:

  • FAA Pilot, Dispatch or Airframe & Power Plant License
  • Experience with Safety Investigations
  • Familiarity with Safety Management System (SMS) program
  • Experience with GE Aviation or other Flight Data Analysis program
  • Computer programming experience or education with Java, Python, C, Ruby, Javascript, SQL
  • Associate's Degree in aviation or experience in aviation environment
  • Working knowledge of Flight Operations Quality Assurance Programs (FOQA)
